Introduction:
In Dynamics / Power Platform integrations plays an important role for extending Dynamics/Power platform to integrate with legacy systems or other applications. Post creation of an application in Azure Active directory, next application user must be created so that this user can be used to connect to Dynamics CRM from other applications. In this post we see how to create an application user using Power Platform Admin center.
Step 1:
Login to Power Platform Admin center through url with valid Dynamics 365 CRM trial or production environment credentials. Post login one should see admin center landing page as shown in the below figure.

Step 2:
After Step 1, select required environment and click on settings as shown in the below figure.

Step 3:
After Step 2, under Users+Permissions section select Application users as shown in the below figure.

Step 4:
After Step 3, select +New app user as shown in the below figure.

Step 5:
After Step 4, select required business unit as shown in the below figure.

Step 6:
After Step 5, select required security roles by clicking on pencil icon as shown in the below figure.

Step 7:
After Step 6, under App*, click +Add an app button and select required Application which is registered in Azure Active Directory for integrations and click on Add as shown in the below figure.

Step 8:
After Step 7, click on Create which creates application user that is required for our Dynamics 365 CRM environment as shown in the below figure.

Step 9:
After Step 8, application user will be created as shown in the below figure.

Step 10:
After Step 9, as a quick verification open classic view of crm environment and navigate to settings and security and filter application users, you should see above created application user as shown in the below figure.

Note:
- Make sure application is registered in Azure Active Directory.
- Make sure to have a respective role available to provide to application user so that access to only required entities should be present.
- You can just select one Azure App for one application user.
Conclusion: In this way, one can easily create an application user through power platform admin center.
